Short Breaks at Explorazone
Explorazone is an approved Norfolk County Council Short Breaks provider. Families of disabled children and young people can use their Short Breaks allocation for a fun, science-packed day out at our Norwich venue.
What is the Short Breaks Scheme?
Short Breaks is a Norfolk County Council programme under the Children Act 1989. It gives families of disabled children and young people (aged 0 to 17, or up to 25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan) funded opportunities to enjoy activities away from home.
Families receive a personal allocation they can spend at approved providers — including Explorazone. There is no cost to families who qualify. Your SEND case worker or Norfolk County Council’s Short Breaks team can confirm your eligibility and allocation.
