How it works

    Fridays are our dedicated group days. Other weekdays can be arranged.

  2. Send the form

    Rough numbers are fine. Final numbers go on the invoice.

  3. Share your quotation

    Receive a quotation to share with your families. It fixes the price while you collect names.

  4. We confirm your date

    We check your date is free and send the invoice. Your date is confirmed once you have it.

Before you book transport or invite families, please wait for your invoice. A quotation fixes the price, but only the invoice confirms your date.

Your questions answered

Is there a minimum booking?

A day on your own, where we open just for your group, needs a booking of £600 (50 people at £12). If we can pair you with another group booking on the same day, the minimum drops to £400 (33 people), with each group in its own zone on its own timetable. If you are close to either number, tell us. Depending on the size of the other group we can often be flexible.

Will the price stay the same while I collect names?

Yes. Your quotation holds the price while you gather families. Final numbers go on the invoice.

Which days can we come?

Weekdays, 10:00 to 14:00. Fridays are our dedicated group visit days and other weekdays can be arranged. Put two or three preferred dates on the form and we will confirm what is free.

Do we all have to arrive together?

No. As long as everyone has their own ticket, families can arrive and leave at different times within 10:00 to 14:00.

Does the weekend buy-one-get-one-free offer apply?

No. That is a separate weekend offer for individual families and it does not combine with weekday group pricing. The group rate is already our lowest price.

What ages is it for?

All ages. Exhibits cover physics, chemistry, biology and astronomy, with plenty for early years through to teens.

How do we pay?

One invoice to the organiser, paid by card or bank transfer through our secure ANNA payment link. We do not take separate payments from each family, so collect from your group first. Your date is confirmed when we send your invoice, so please wait for it before booking transport or inviting families.

What if our numbers change or a family does not show up?

Tell us before the visit and we will reissue the invoice. If fewer people attend on the day, the difference (up to 20% of the booking) is held as credit for a visit within 12 months.

Can we cancel?

Cancel 28 days or more before the visit for a full refund. After that, payments are held as credit for a visit within 12 months. An unmatched shared day stays fully refundable.

Is it noisy? My child has sensory needs.

Ear defenders are available for anyone who needs them. Tell us about access or sensory needs on the form and we will brief the team before you arrive.

Can we bring lunch?

Yes. Packed lunches are welcome and there is a dedicated space for them.

Is the cafe open on weekdays?

On weekdays our cafe is open for snacks and drinks only. If you pre-order a minimum of £500 food credit, including VAT, we will open the cafe fully for your group. Food credit is separate from your visit and does not count towards the visit minimum. Tell us on the form and we will add it to your quotation.
